Verve Bee Media are proud to present an event hosted by the London Film Academy (Fulham Broadway, London UK)!
BUZZIN’ SHORTS screens ALL selected films at a small cinema over a Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by a networking event.
We know how hard it is to get your short films in front of an audience and we offer an experience which focuses on celebrating your work and having a real audience experience your creations.
CATEGORIES & PRIZES
The festival is running in only two categories STUDENT SHORTS and INDIE SHORTS, Students must be in education at the time of creating the film and the second category Indies is for everyone else but must still be independent filmmakers.
SELECTIONS:
If your film is selected it WILL BE SCREENED IN PERSON at London Film Academy cinema in Fulham Broadway. This is a small cinema inside the academy.
The screening event will be hosted over a Saturday and Sunday consecutive days, but we cannot guarantee which day your film will be screened on, but you will be informed in good time before the screening so that you can arrange to be free on the day.
The screening will be accompanied by a networking event.

EACH OF THESE 6 winners will be awarded an ACRYLIC TROPHY with our bee logo and the year and the title Buzzin’ Shorts award and a paper certificate.
The category BEST SHORT (in both student and indie) will also be awarded a voucher for a script development session with a Verve Bee Media team member. This will also include industry advice as well as creative.

The trophies will be COMPLIMENTARY (free) we mention this because a lot of film festivals charge for them.
ALL attendees will receive a complimentary cool shiny laptop sticker (unless supplies run out) and there will be other merchandise available like tote bags and key rings.
RULES AND TERMS
1- In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner. The applicant holds the sole responsibility of copyright clearance of any copyrighted material in the film.
2- All fees are non-refundable.
3- The Festival relationship will exclusively be related to the film submitter.
4- Maximum length allowed is 25 minutes.
5- Films not in English must be subtitled in English unless dialogue is minimal and not necessary for the comprehension of the film.
6- Films already on any VOD platform or For Sale on Amazon or any other company, location, etc. will not be accepted. YouTube release is acceptable.
7- A USB stick copy will be requested for the live Events as WELL AS a digital copy sent in advance.
8- Films must be submitted via the FilmFreeway platform. Email submissions to Verve Bee Media or LFA will NOT be responded to or opened.
9- Students must present a valid Student ID in order to receive our student discount.
10- Not all the submissions are selected for the Official Competition. Our Judges are free to make their own choices and no answers will be given about not selected films.
11- The Festival can consider any film to be disqualified if the festival considers the content inappropriate. If you have any question regarding this decision you may contact us at our email address: hello@vervebeemedia.com
12- The festival reserves the right to disqualify or reject any film that it determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, to contain prohibited content or is offensive, inappropriate or otherwise unacceptable. Selections will be notified by email.
13- A fee is required for the official Competitions Submission. For payment structure visit FilmFreeway.
14- Submitting your movie, you authorize BUZZIN’ SHORTS and LFA to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and movie stills in our social media.
15- The applicants (submitters) must accept BUZZIN’ SHORTS Rules and Terms.
16- When submitting your film, you are consenting to our Privacy Policy. We are committed to respecting each filmmaker's preferences. We might contact you through your email or social media provided in the submission page to communicate updates on your submission status, screening requirements, events ticket confirmation, as well as to provide information about events. You can unsubscribe from any marketing or advertising newsletter from us or any partner festival simply by clicking unsubscribe.
Even when unsubscribing from a marketing newsletter, you can still receive any communication regarding your submission status through the FilmFreeway system. 17- The festival reserves the right to change, postpone or cancel the event at anytime for any reason with no obligation to offer refunds or reimbursement of costs for any expenses filmmakers may have had associated with the festival including but not limited to travel, marketing materials, and/or ticket purchases.
18- You will retain all copyright, IP and distribution rights to your film.
19- The festival may choose to make a showreel of the projects selected and post this on YouTube. You will be credited and tagged in every way possible. If you really object to this or feel it will damage your distribution avenues it is possible to opt out of this. But we would encourage it as it is essentially free marketing.
